Trauma Therapy for Service Members
Specialized Recovery for Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Personnel
Military Liaison: (908) 263-1332Trauma therapy for service members at Resilience NJ is a specialized clinical process aimed at resolving the psychological impact of combat, operational stress, and moral injury. As an authorized 2026 provider for TRICARE East and the VA Community Care Network, we offer evidence-based treatments such as EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These interventions are designed to lower autonomic hyperarousal while maintaining the individual's mission readiness and fitness for duty.
Specialized Recovery Modalities
Service members require a specific therapeutic language. Our trauma therapy for service members utilizes the most effective 2026 clinical protocols:
EMDR Therapy
Advanced reprocessing that helps the brain "unlock" service-related traumatic memories, reducing triggers and flashbacks without lengthy verbal recounting.
CPT (Cognitive Processing)
Targeted therapy to resolve "stuck points" regarding safety, trust, and power that often shift during high-tempo military service.
Biological Regulation
Drawing on Fernando's 18-month Sports Science specialization (UNIFESP), we use bio-regulation to help service members physically manage the stress response.
Readiness Integration
Therapy goals are aligned with military readiness, focusing on sleep restoration, focus, and emotional regulation in high-pressure environments.
