Every veteran’s path to recovery is different. Our veteran outpatient mental health program offers tiered levels of intensity to meet your specific clinical needs:
Standard Outpatient (OP)
Weekly or bi-weekly 1-on-1 sessions focusing on long-term maintenance, transition issues, and relationship health.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Meets 3-5 days per week. A deeper dive into trauma reprocessing (EMDR/CPT) while you continue to work or attend school.
Medication Management
Expert psychiatric oversight to ensure prescriptions for depression, anxiety, or sleep are optimized for military physiology.
Trauma-Focused Tracks
Specialized groups for PTSD, Moral Injury, and MST, led by clinicians who understand the "unspoken code" of military service.
2026 Eligibility & Access
Accessing a veteran outpatient mental health program in the community is simpler than ever under current federal guidelines:
- VA CCN Referrals: If you are enrolled in VA healthcare, ask your PCM for a "Community Care" referral to Resilience NJ.
- COMPACT Act: Veterans in acute crisis can often receive immediate stabilization without prior enrollment.
- TRICARE Select/Prime: Most outpatient mental health visits do not require a referral for family members or retirees.
