TRICARE IOP Mental Health
In-Network Intensive Stabilization for NJ Military Families
TRICARE Intake Line: (908) 263-1332TRICARE IOP mental health is an Intensive Outpatient Program that provides 9 to 15 hours of clinical treatment per week. It is designed for service members, retirees, and dependents who require a higher level of care than weekly therapy but do not need 24-hour hospitalization. At Resilience NJ, our IOP utilizes evidence-based protocols (EMDR, CBT, and DBT) to treat PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders. We are a 2026 authorized provider for TRICARE East, ensuring intensive stabilization is accessible and covered for the NJ military community.
The IOP Recovery Framework
Our TRICARE IOP mental health track is structured to deliver rapid clinical progress while preserving your ability to fulfill daily responsibilities:
Trauma Processing
Concentrated sessions of EMDR and CPT designed to target the physiological roots of service-connected trauma.
Psychiatric Oversight
Consistent medication management and clinical review to ensure biological stabilization supports emotional healing.
Resilience Training
Informed by Fernando’s 18-month Sports Science specialization (UNIFESP), we use bio-regulation to help you master the "stress response."
Peer Unity
Therapeutic groups that restore the sense of mission and camaraderie often lost during mental health struggles.
Navigating TRICARE Authorization in 2026
Getting started with TRICARE IOP mental health care at Resilience NJ is a clear-cut process:
- Active Duty (ADSM): You require a referral from your PCM or MTF. Once issued, we coordinate the pre-authorization with Humana Military.
- Families/Retirees (Select & Prime): While you have more flexibility, IOP still requires medical necessity documentation. Our intake team handles the clinical submission for you.
- Zero Cost: In-network IOP services for Active Duty and many TRICARE beneficiaries often carry $0 out-of-pocket costs for authorized care.
