Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Veterans
Rigorous Trauma Recovery | Flexible Scheduling | VA Authorized 2026
Veteran Support Line: (908) 263-1332An intensive outpatient program for veterans at Resilience NJ is a structured clinical track that provides 9 to 15 hours of specialized treatment per week. This level of care is designed for veterans who need more support than traditional therapy but wish to remain active in their work or family lives. In 2026, our IOP is fully authorized via the VA Community Care Network (CCN) and TRICARE, ensuring veterans receive evidence-based PTSD and substance use treatment at no out-of-pocket cost with an authorized referral.
The IOP Tactical Framework
Our intensive outpatient program for veterans uses a mission-focused approach to stabilize and strengthen the veteran’s mental health:
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Multiple sessions per week utilizing EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to target service-connected trauma roots.
Substance Use Support
Comprehensive dual diagnosis tracks to address the intersection of self-medication, moral injury, and military-to-civilian transition.
Nervous System Mastering
Drawing on Fernando’s 18-month Sports Science specialization (UNIFESP), we use bio-regulation to help you physically master the "stress response."
Operational Transition
Clinical groups focused on translating military skills into civilian career success while managing the unique stresses of post-service life.
