VA CCN Outpatient Mental Health Services
Evidence-Based Therapy for New Jersey Veterans
(908) 263-1332VA CCN outpatient mental health care refers to professional counseling and psychological services provided in a community setting—outside of a VA hospital—but fully authorized and funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs. At Resilience NJ, we provide these outpatient services to Veterans who meet MISSION Act eligibility due to long wait times (20+ days) or excessive travel distances (30+ minutes) to the nearest VA facility.

Why Resilience NJ?
Our clinic specializes in the "Biological Bridge" of mental health. Using Sports Science and physiological monitoring, we go beyond traditional outpatient talk therapy. We help Veterans regulate their autonomic nervous systems, providing tangible tools for managing PTSD, chronic stress, and transition-related anxiety.
Common Misconception: Emergency vs. Outpatient
While outpatient care is for scheduled, ongoing therapy, the COMPACT Act now provides 100% covered emergency suicide care (up to 90 days of outpatient follow-up) even without a prior referral. However, for standard VA CCN outpatient mental health care, an advance referral is required to ensure 100% reimbursement.
