Veteran PTSD Treatment
Specialized Recovery for Those Who Served | New Jersey Certified
VA Referral Liaison: (908) 263-1332Evidence-Based PTSD Modalities
We do not use "one-size-fits-all" counseling. Our veteran PTSD treatment focuses on the most effective clinical pathways recommended by the National Center for PTSD:
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer trigger intense emotional or physical reactions.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
A structured therapy that helps you challenge and change unhelpful beliefs related to your trauma, such as issues with trust, safety, and control.
Prolonged Exposure (PE)
Designed to help you gradually approach trauma-related memories and situations you have been avoiding since your service.
How to Start Your PTSD Recovery
Under the 2026 VA Access Standards, Veterans have the right to seek veteran PTSD treatment in the community if the VA cannot provide immediate or local care. Follow these steps:
- Request a Referral: Contact your VA PACT team and request a community care referral for PTSD therapy.
- Specify Resilience NJ: Ask the VA to send your authorization specifically to our NJ clinic.
- Intake: Once authorized, our team at (908) 263-1332 will schedule your initial evaluation within days, not months.
