VA Liaison: (908) 263-1332PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) mental health for veterans at Resilience NJ is an intensive daytime clinical track that provides hospital-level psychiatric care while allowing veterans to return home at night. This 2026-standard program is designed for veterans experiencing acute PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, or severe anxiety who require more than once-a-week therapy. We are a fully authorized VA Community Care Network (CCN) and TRICARE provider, meaning your intensive treatment is typically 100% covered.

Daily Psychiatric Oversight
Consistent medication management and clinical check-ins to ensure your biological stabilization is on track.
Rapid Trauma Processing
Intensive EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) sessions conducted several times per week for accelerated relief.
Nervous System Regulation
Applying Fernando’s 18-month Sports Science specialization (UNIFESP) to retrain your body's stress response during acute distress.
Camaraderie & Groups
Therapeutic groups focused on Moral Injury, Transition Stress, and Veteran-specific coping skills alongside peers who "get it."
VA CCN & TRICARE Access (2026 Guidelines)
Securing your spot in our PHP mental health veterans program is a clinical priority:
- VA Referrals: If you are in a crisis or require a higher level of care, your VA Mental Health team can authorize PHP via Community Care.
- MISSION Act Eligibility: We specialize in cases where VA facilities are at capacity or too far from the veteran's home in New Jersey.
- Zero Cost: For authorized veterans, there are $0 co-pays and $0 out-of-pocket costs for the duration of the PHP track.
