Mental Health Care for Service Members

Advanced Clinical Support for Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Personnel

Service Member Liaison: (908) 263-1332
Direct Answer: Mental health care for service members at Resilience NJ provides a comprehensive clinical pathway to address PTSD, anxiety, depression, and deployment-related stress. We are an authorized civilian provider for the TRICARE East Region and the VA Community Care Network. For the 2026 service year, we offer immediate access to evidence-based therapies designed to preserve mission readiness and support the unique physiological needs of those in uniform.

Specialized Clinical Tracks

In the military, "Total Force Fitness" includes psychological health. Our mental health care for service members is built on three specific pillars of recovery:

Operational Recovery

Focused therapy for combat stress, moral injury, and the high-tempo pressures of military duty using EMDR and CPT.

Transition Support

Helping service members navigate the shift between active deployments, Guard/Reserve status, and civilian reintegration.

Family Resilience

Conjoint and family therapy sessions (covered by TRICARE) to address the impact of service on the home front.

The Physiological Approach: At Resilience NJ, we treat the service member as a Tactical Athlete. Drawing from Fernando’s 18-month Sports Science specialization (UNIFESP) and his competitive background in Sao Paulo, we prioritize autonomic nervous system regulation. We understand that your mental health is a component of your physical performance, and we provide tools to manage the biological markers of stress.
