Bergen County Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs
Our Bergen-focused Intensive Outpatient tracks pair therapist-led groups (3–4 per week) with individual counseling. Psychiatric evaluation & medication management are available when indicated. Plans are reviewed weekly so goals, symptoms, and functioning drive next steps—maintain IOP, step up to PHP, or step down to outpatient counseling.
Education
What is IOP?
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) provides ~9–12 hours/week of structured care—more than weekly therapy and less than PHP. You’ll rehearse skills, process experiences, and coordinate medications without pausing school or work. For independent information, see NIMH and SAMHSA.
